Equality El Dorado is committed to creating a community where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and care. We believe diversity strengthens our organization and our community, and we work to ensure that people of all backgrounds, identities, abilities, and experiences feel welcomed, valued, and included.

Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is reflected in the way we design programs, build partnerships, recruit staff and volunteers, and serve our community. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

As an LGBTQ+-led organization, we recognize that many people, especially those living in rural communities, face barriers to safety, support, healthcare, mental health services, employment, education, and community connection. We are committed to reducing those barriers and creating spaces where people can show up as themselves without fear of judgment or exclusion.

We also understand that inclusion requires ongoing work. Equality El Dorado is committed to listening to the people we serve, examining our own practices, learning from our community, and continuing to grow. Our goal is not simply to welcome people into our space, but to help build a community where everyone has the opportunity to belong, participate, and thrive.
